Thank you for taking the time to look through my website. This is officially my first ever blog. I'm still not even too sure what exactly a blog entails? But lets give this a try.
My name is John. Born and raised in Regina, Sk. Some would certainly say a few of my biggest passions are automotive, music, tattoos, art and most recently photographs! I've been in the automotive industry now for almost 24 years. My love for vehicles started at an early age. To be honest, I'm really not even too sure what truly got me started into it. I've always liked the looks, the sounds and intrigued with how they work and how they're built and operated. And of course, modifying them to some degree...or, to some extremes. My passion for music has always been an influence to me, ranging in styles from hip hop, metal, punk, edm, rock and classical. I pretty much like it all! Especially loud, and live. I find that sometimes music can even influence my thought process when it comes to brainstorming some creative photoshoot ideas. Feel free to bring your own music playlist to a shoot. It can help spark the emotion you or we can strive to capture. When it comes to photos, I guess I started off with having helped from time to time with a good friend when it came to photoshoots. Helping in any way with setting up, lighting and so on. His style really intrigued me, and to this day still influences my style for the most part. Recently I've picked up the camera and started taking photos, starting from automotive and moving into working with people. I've enjoyed it from the start. Still learning and growing and working on my style, sometimes styles. I've been VERY fortunate so far to come into a community of photography that has lent a hand in being a positive influence, inspiration and teaching. This community has been open and receptive to another "newbie". I've had the pleasure already of getting to work with some truly wonderful human beings inside and out. Some incredibly talented people who have been more than welcoming in stepping in front of the camera as I continue to grow. I can not possibly thank them enough for everything and am very appreciative and feel fortunate for it all. I'm excited for any and all future photographic endeavors. I hope that I can help to be a part of yours as well. Thank you for taking the time to come this far, and hopefully my first blog went well hah. Now let's make something beautiful!
